Places to See Outside of Edinburgh

Edinburgh is full of art, culture, and great sight seeing. But few visitors take the opportunity to get into some of the sights and activities that are located within a mile or so of this city, but offering much more memorable experience. Scotland is a beautiful country with a rich history of Edinburgh and surrounding attractions, visitors can immerse themselves in these things as anything else. What follows are some of the attractions and activities most visitors miss, all within easy access of Edinburgh most of the hotel.
Arthur's seat


Take a walk down the hill in Holyrood Park and you'll be on the edge of the cliffs of Salisbury. It offers a dramatic change of scenery right near town. Get a taste of the Scottish countryside, especially in the early morning or dusk hours. Arthur's Seat is a prominent hill in the area that is as monumental as it is picturesque. Do not forget your camera. You may even dare to climb Arthur sjedalo.Nagrada is a wonderful city view or a sunset, if you're playing.


Leith Walkway Water
This 11-kilometer trail runs from Balerno to the port of Leith, and takes visitors past some of Edinburgh, the most interesting neighborhoods and out into a picturesque green area just outside the city. Convenient to several Edinburgh hotel, the trail has plenty of inputs and can be taken as a one-day adventure or a walk Sunday afternoon. At peak hours it can be a great way to meet and make friends with a local resident if you are brave enough to strike up a conversation. You might even get good advice about where to find good cheap hotels or restaurants in the city.


Pentland Hills Regional Park
This beautiful park is located south of the city is an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts. Lots are located nearby for those who do not want to live freely in prirodi.Niz activity includes almost everything from fishing to paragliding.

Rosslyn Chapel
Many visitors take the opportunity to visit Rosslyn Chapel south of town. This 1446 church was featured in the movie DaVinci Code and symbols in the church a prominent place in the workbook based on the film. This is a great opportunity to get into some of the rich history, culture and architecture that is made Scotland an international tourist destination.
