The main village is a winding road through the numerous restaurants, bars and a pair of some stores. There are a disproportionate number of tailors here so I expect to be bothered with them in stores.
beach has a variety of makes of restaurants and bars along the beach that are cheap and cheerful and make the absolute beachfront setting.
itself is not the most attractive beaches on the island, but is generally clean and safe. Waves can be constructed in the wet season, but during the season, the water was very calm and safe for families. Jet skis can be rented, but beware of any damage as there is no insurance.
To the southern end of the beach and a long winding road rt 'millionaires row' which contains some of the best Phukets luxury hotels and private villas. Andar, Paresa and Cape Sienna are all 5 star luxury and great for drinks or dinner, even if you are not staying there. Cape Sienna has a beautiful rooftop bar overlooking Kamala who is just perfect for sunset cocktails. Rockfish across the road is not amazing food and breakfast is cheap and wonderful.
